@LukeSavenije hey i need some help now. its for someone else idk what he will do with that GPU or PSU

seasonic focus has had a lot of problems with high peak wattage cards (some 970's, 2080 ti, vega)

they've tried to tune it, but that didn't make it much better

so i suggest something like a rmx, pure power 11, whisper, formula or something along those lines

can it give power to that GPU seems like the title is clear enough to tell what i mean

It's fine, just don't heavily overclock the GPU, and probably undervolt the GPU

but what's your monitor resolution/refresh rate?

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

Seasonic Focus Plus has had documented issues with Vega GPUs in the past. Supposedly fixed by Seasonic on new units now though.

Quote

FOCUS PLUS & Vega 56/64

System shutdown may occur when the GPU is under load. Current testing showed users can see higher than normal peak current emitted by this particular range of GPUs when under load. This triggers the PSU’s internal safety if it's a Focus Plus that came to market before April 2018.

For Vega? Would take the PP 11. 550W is plenty, unless you heavily overlock your CPU

TX550m is rather loud on the idle, Focus+ has had issues with  Vega cards, and all 3 units except PP11 are single rail if I remember right

Just look for real reviews, but all of those are fine

well he said RMx too expensive so idk thoo. so i left with those options 11 600W/500W(if its enough), TXm, and Leadex Gold if the seller does have a stock

Formula needs 2 Rails for PCIe -> 650W or Up.

So that is not possible.

Whisper M works if you swap CPU with one GPU Port, otherwise same as Formula.

so my safe bet is PP11 and RMx. can a TXm handle it?
