I would expect to see at least 60 fps on medium or high settings with Rust and those specs. I think I get like 90fps with a 1070 8GB FE and an i7-8700 on the highest settings.

Yes but DO NOT buy the GTX 1060 3GB save up the extra bit of cash you need and purchase a 6GB version or go for a RX 580 8GB they are all at an excellent price right now.

I have a ryzen 5 1600 w/ rx 580 8gb and it is an excellent 1080P gaming experience almost any title at med / high settings will be well over 60 fps.   Most esports titles will play over 150fps with ease and triple a titles such as battlefield etc usually see around 100 on high settings.

once again DO NOT BUY the gtx 1060 3GB it is NOT enough VRAM for todays games save up the extra 25-75$ and get a 6GB 1060 or a RX 580 8 GB
