I7 4790K overclocking to 4.8 GHz at 1.315V Safe?

Is overclocking an I7 4790K to 4.8GHz at around 1.315V safe? It is stable and I have good temps. It has been running this way for about half a year. Should I back off the OC a bit?

Yep, thats fine. Mine goes to 5GHz 1.375V and 5.1GHz 1.4V. Mine is delided and watercooled though :P It needed about 1.335V to run 4.8GHz IIRC. As long as thats stable there should be no problem :D

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

#3. There is nothing "wrong" with being wrong. Learning from a mistake can be more valuable than not making one in the first place.
