Graphics Card (Cooling/VRM) Tier List (Navi Update)

@LukeSavenije so the rx 5xxx series , tier A to D all have the same pcb?

they don't, some use totally different ones from others

Hmm, I wonder why the Palit GameRock is D tier. TPU noise/temps measurement for the Gamerock 2080 Super is comparable to Gaming X Trio/FTW3, better than AMP Extreme. The 2070 Super is also competitive with Strix/Gaming X Trio/FTW3. Is it purely down to PCB in that case? @LukeSavenije

so why is the rankings criteria made only by cooling and not by pcb as it is at rtx boards

Probably because the PCB doesn't affect things that much on the 5000 series GPUs. Alternatively, nobody has bothered testing the differences.

About the "ZOTAC AMP Extreme" for 20xx series, what does the "(Core)" means?

Edit:

Just found the answer but, the 20xx super, doesn't have the core edition, any advice? I'm currently deciding between a Galax 2060 Super EX and the ZOTAC 2060 Super AMP Extreme.

like to imforn on the 2 months second hand 1060 turbo pascal architecture and on oc mode it hardly gets up to 55c the fan deos a great job so i think its unfair to rate it E as far for the performance its something you might be also false about

strix represents top products with Pascal& Turing GPU-s. But the Asus' Radeon-AMD lineup is sub-par at best. Ineffective cooling solutions, buggy vBIOS-es and yet premium price. I would not bother with ASUS VGA-s from Radeon. Just not worth it, esp. that Sapphire Pulse cards are very competitively priced with decent enough PCB and good coolers.

Life is really challenging. I don't always suceed: )

comparing an 570 to 1050 is kind of irrelevant. The former GPU is much more powerful ~55% faster. You can only compare cooling solutions and PCB-s on cards with the same GPU: eg.: an Asus Strix 2060 with an MSI Gaming Z 2060. So it does not mean anything, if a RX570 performed better, than a 1050, it is just plain obvious! : )

um thermal wise i mean not i performace as a gpu but as a thermal conductor the rx 570 still was a better thermal conductor than the 1050 but the 1060 has even better thermal conductor than those 2 and as a reference the rx570 at about 70% of usage had about 66c the 1050 with  a 80% ususage had a ridiculus 70c but the 1060 at 90% usage has 55c

I would check the first page again as there are five list which have the AMD 5700s, 5600s and XXXX GPUs in three list in red and the Nvidia 20XX and 10XX series in green. the problem with the list is that they don't name what the card is specifically so you will have to look them up yourself
