Graphics Card (Cooling/VRM) Tier List (Navi Update)

I don't understand a single thing on this list, maybe make a CPU tier list from work station and gaming high end to all rounder and low end

how don't you understand? Not trying to be rude, but I'm curious. A CPU tier list isn't really needed IMO, because the market isn't filled with a bunch of different CPUs.

I've a RTX 2080 Gaming OC.

Is that high end or mid range?

It's a solid mid range RTX 2080.

The cooler is appropriated by all means, silent enough and should have peak temps on the 70's but it's a card that despite a bit more silent and robust looking in comparison still provides about the same performance the FE does across the board.

I don't really look at what types the brands have I only mainly know about the cards so I don't really understand it. About CPU it's probably clear that Intel is sweeping the floor from i7 4790k to i7 9700k probably.

Looks like I chose some really nice GPU's according to this list as I only had 2 GPUs so far.

My Asus Dual GTX 1060 6GB

And my current EVGA GeForce GTX 1070 Ti FTW ULTRA SILENT GAMING ACX 3.0

Actually I am still happy I got that card, it never ran too hot and still works just in another PC right now.

And the cost factor at the time was reasonable, that card cost me about $250 or so.

Mid range card, mid range pricing so good deal in my opinion.

Its best not to bemoan a lower end card if it does its job, sure it was not top of the line but it was my first GPU and I would probably still have it if i did not get a 1440p monitor

the ultra silent is like a wet dream of a card to be honest. If I hadn't picked up the FTW2 iCX then I would have bought the ultra silent

Well why do you think I got my FTW card? Yup it was cheap and brand new too, stole mine for $380 as i have seen it jump up in price recently (even pre owned cards can fetch a pretty penny).

Thats my economical shopping skills at work :D

pcpp showed me one without being visible... it looked like a dual to me... changing soon

Please change the name of this thread to GPU Cooler Tier List (or something similar) as this thread isn't actually related to GPUs.

BTW, I thought that MSI Armor is really not that good& MSI Gaming is certainly top-tier stuff.

Keep in mind there are two MSI Armor coolers mentioned, one for RTX cards and one for non-RTX.

Ventus cards basically replaced Armor for RTX, while Armor was moved bit up

i suggest you thank @MEC-777 for that one

I was really narrow minded cause its called gpu tier list, so I take it like A literally a genuine card called like nitro+.

Thanks @MEC-777

I'm planning to buy a GIGABYTE GeForce RTX™ 2060 OC 6G, considering it is at tier D and I live in a tropical region (room temp around 27-28oC), should I be worried about it?

It is the dual fan. I don't see Gigabyte OC on the tier list so I think it belongs to the Gigabyte OC Low profile, which is on tier D.

it's because that's the older windforce. they aren't the best, but sufficient for the use you have, and with a good deal, i wouldn't say no to it

edit: it's actually in there as the "gaming oc"

Good list, well done and written. And factual information.

I have 2080 ti FE x2 and I slapped an Alphacool Eiswolf GPX 240 on them and they idle in the mid 30's C to almost ambient. Under load, the highest I saw them get was the low 70's. Just info if someone was wondering how the FE did under water.
