Curious of asking price for my PS3 I'm selling.

SkilledRebuilds
Go to solution Solved by Ertman,

Depending on local market prices (could be more or less), conservatively $200-300. There is a lot of extras, but don't forget everything is used and Sony has moved onto a new platform.

I don't have the time to even play anything these days... could use the money for more important things...

Selling my PS3, curious to how much I'd get for it..? This isn't a picture of mine, just the model itself.

Because I have NFI on what these things are worth...

Better to ask here than to look a fool without the info needed.

Looking up its the CECHJ202 40GB Model, with the silver stripe across it.

However I have replaced the 5400rpm drive with an SSD of 128GB. <Primarily due to hearing, then seeing the difference with GT5/6.

Included with this PS3 will be:
Sixaxis Controller with Charging cable
Playstation Move Pingpong Controller + Playstation Eyetoy Camera and the disc that comes with the box they came in.
Gran Turismo 6 – Bought the day I got this PS3 (early xmas present for myself)
Bad Company 1 & 2
Battlefield 3 Premium (Has base game and included Premium)
Turtle Beach P11's, Headset and Boom Mic.
Component Cable (To use for Headset and enable dual outputs)
HDMI Cable 3m

Your thoughts on a realistic price to ask?

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

I think around 100 for the PS3 and games, and additional 50-100 for everything else.

200-500bucks

That variability is a bit nuts... Couldn't pinpoint it to min-max being within $100 of each other..?

Also,I didnt know you posted here, because you didnt quote any text of mine... food for thought.

Thankyou, decent ballpark figure :)

I had figured it'd be close to $200 ish...., awaiting more responses before marking solved. But thanks for replying.

Thanks for taking the time to reply, I realize everything is used and I'm not really after a profit, just a reasonable justified price.

Looking for a quick sale, so lowering the baseline would help there.... Now I have a baseline, thanks guys.

Have you upgraded the firmware past 3.5? If not, you can get a lot more. If you downgrade the firmware to 3.5 (no need to jailbreak it yourself either), you can get a lot.

Explain the benefits of why I should be doing this first...

Why does FW3.5 get more than later FW's?

3.55 can be jailbroken, while anything above can't.

Yeah, whoever buys it (if interested in that) can do it themselves.
