YouTube's "official" response to this is that it's a known temporary issue

Exactly how temporary remains to be seen though. If it lasts for a significant part of next week, I'll look at swapping it over to a different API, but it's not a one-click change.

I'm not sure if it's a bug or meant to be this way, but it seemed a bit weird to me...

Same. Early April Fools joke?

I am not sure I watched the RAID video, but Linus is so young in that thumbnail, it's obvious the video is several years old.

it seems to even be in the time linus used to do techquickie in front of a white wall, not a greenscreen

I guess the staff decided that a week of reruns was the easiest way to get through Linus' vacation.

The YouTube API appears to be giving straight up incorrect results at the moment. I'm looking into it, but the chances are that there's nothing I can do about it.

So yaeh, @LukeSavenije I noticed this.  I thought it was just something the staff decided to put.

as you can see, it's all Google's fault

and we can now all start explaining it to everyone

Does anyone else see old videos in the "Recent videos" area on the right hand side of the forum? I've attached and image. Apparently Honest Answers has been resurrected. One could only hope.

So for whatever reason all of the "Latest From XXX Channel" things are showing old videos. The FAP video is actually from 2013.

Kinda entertaining to see the promotion of old videos.

Known issue with YouTube's shitty amazing API's, so it'll be fixed when YouTube fixes it I believe.
