Coil Whine

So aparently some people still thinking that coil whine can't happen to a new GPU. Yes it can, it isn't necessairily a problem caused by the GPU being old or droped. It can happen in the manufacture process, it is really rare but if it happens you can and should call your warranty (if you still have it).

the consensus has been known for sometime...

People will receive brand-new GTX 1080 Ti's, or whichever GPU, and CAN have coil whine.

The recommendation is to:

  1. Live with it or,
  2. Request an RMA or exchange.
