Overclocking way past 4.5ghz and still low temps

Hello you beautiful people

Back again with a puzzle

So I decided to overclock my 5930k way past the point of 4.5ghz to now 4.9ghz @2.10 volts and I am now in shock as my temps never go higher then 65*C on full load and stable with tests for 2 hours in each bench/stress tests and starting to think does this CPU even heat up??

And also I have the ring at 3500mhz

Has anybody else been lucky to get the x99 platform with overclocks to 5ghz just on water and low temps and should I see how far this thing will go without nitrogen and this cpu as not been delided  ?

that CPU would be dead already if you actually applied 2.1V, but i'm pretty sure that your overclock is not applying at all.

Keep pushing your CPU higher. Just make sure to stay below 5 volts.

Color me surprised that chip can even still work, WTF is your motherboard doing? catching heat rays from it?

Just zap that shit with 5 volts and 10GHz, that thing is invincible.

Seriously though 2.1 is absurd, turn that down.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Haswell/Haswell-E dies at 1.8V. You're talking about CPU Input volts. Totally different thing.

I'm starting to think theres a issue with a sensor as my radiator is pretty hot and my watercooling tubes are going pretty soft!!

What about some benchmarks? Run Cinebench and see if your score blasts other 5930k's out of the water. My guess is your score will actually be quite lower.

I'd imagine so. Jet fuel might not melt steel beams, but a 5930k at 2.1 volts sure as shit will.

whats your motherboard? there's probably like an overvoltage protection, it won't let you go above 1.5V or whatever unless you flick a switch on the motherboard.
