oh I love it for sure... my 2nd option when I was looking was the SVS PB-2000 but as i recall I ended up going with the HSU unit because it had lower extension or something... maybe the low end is flatter until rolloff. Pretty sure it was somewhat due to the 15" driver vs a 12" driver.

True, generally larger drivers have much more ease getting down to lower frequencies. I bought these particular subs because they sound tight and controlled.

Main speaker setup is now;

 

Mini DSP SHD Studio -> 2x Mola Mola Tambaqui DAC's (fed by AES/EBU, one feeds the left sub and main, the other feeds the right side) -> 2x Neumann KH420 + 2x Neumann KH870

 

(Having a totally seperate DAC for each channel is game changing for sound quality)
