if you're going to buy a dGPU spend the extra $60 on the 2600.

will save you in the long run

don't waste your time on the 2200g if you're getting a dGPU, and don't bother with a 4/4 IMO.

either spend the extra $60 on a 2600 or save for the new 3000 low end, which is a 6/12 allegedly.

The low end skews will probably have some delay to them. Like they did with the other launches.

A Ryzen 3 2200G should pair up just fine with a RX 570. I think you'd be getting pretty close to the limit of that CPU though without bottlenecking. Personally, I would opt for the R5 2600 if you can afford the extra $50 or so. The additional 2 cores and 8 threads will definitely help.

If you can't afford a R5, the 2200G is a very respectable quad core CPU for the money. It also greatly benefits from modest overclocking.
