Neither is the 1660Ti if you are planning on upgrading to 1440P.

 

Would be better to get at least an RTX 2070 ideally for playing at 1440P.

 

Absolute min would be an RTX 2060 and that is on the weak side for 1440P.

i would rather have a slightly used 8GB GTX 1070ti or 1080 personally...if possible! :)

They're actually pretty fine with the 8GB model and a slight drop to settings, I run a 4k display and do some 4k gaming on an RX 580 8GB, Resident Evil 2 ran at like 45+ fps

 

But I'd go straight for 4k instead of 1440p unless you're getting a 1440p 144hz display.

 

Or upgrade to a 1080p 144hz display over a 1440p 60hz display
