The 1 TB HDD of my current pc, which I have had for 2 years now, is completely full. I want more space and have roughly $100 dollars to drop on it. Im also a content creator, and record high space files often, I currently have not many clips on my pc right now, but plan to have more. Should I go for a 5TB HDD or a 250 GB SSD

a 250GB SSD is like 40$, a 5TB Hard drive is like 150$

Why don't you find a balance of both? An SSD is essential

Only you can really answer the question of how much space do you need? But seeing as you are still using a hard drive as a boot drive I highly suggest getting at least an SSD for your boot drive then getting another hard drive to suit you space needs.

If you spend as much on SSD's as u do on a 5TB HDD, u could raid together a bunch of cheap smaller SSDs and have like 1.5TB's of SSD storage.

or buy a 4TB HDD and 500GB SSD.

or a 2TB HDD and a 1TB SDD.
