Best GPU for my Libray of Games?

I am building a new system but I have to think about pricing since of the rtx cards launch and the spree of GPU pricing. I want to make sure that I'm not getting a video card for just wasted money but to also handle some of my want to play games at 1080p or 4K. I will list the games that I want to be able to play at desired frame rates and settings. The GPU brand is NVIDIA and the maker is Asus. It must be a GTX 1050 Ti or higher card for it to work with my needs as 4 GB of VRAM will be the minimum VRAM required. Also before the list, the card must be able to play at medium and above settings.

Here's the list:

GTA V

Warframe

Fortnite (BR or STW)

Gmod

CS:GO

Overwatch

Subnatucia

Just Cause 3

Far Cry 5

SCP: Secret Laboratory and Containment Breach

1080p medium high GTX 1060 6gb should be fine since you specified Nvidia, but RX 580 8gb will likely be cheaper and perform the same. 

 

edit: That said you're getting a 9900k. Clearly you don't care about price:performance in games so just get a 2080ti. You'd be insane to pair a 9900k with anything less.

1080 Ti for medium/low settings on new games.  Technically you can do 4k in a number of those games with an RX 470-GTX 1060 class card and get ~60 FPS if you tweak the settings or if the game is old enough.

But i'm looking to see if it'll be able to play at medium and above not low settings. Tired of my integrated graphics being so cheap and not properly working well!

4k can do without AA and some other "eye candy" settings and still look great.  If you want 4k "PCMR, max all the god damned settings", you need a 2080 Ti.  Even then you will probably need to tone some settings down.

1080ti would work for 4k medium/high. That said, you're getting a 9900k. If you're not getting a 2080ti, don't get a 9900k.

Thats what I thought originally but I also want to make sure that the noise isnt too loud also when I'm playing my games. But then again I may as well just do 4K for it.

 

This is probably a stupid thing to ask but I probably already know the answer to it, anything below 4K will definitely make the heat and noise be less but the scaling of the monitor is what will make it be distorted, fix that to turn up the resolution but the scaling issues may be a challenge with that

True but that may also be an advantage because of more headroom in the future for if I even use it at all.

Heat and noise is not terrible with any 2080 Ti.  Nothing like something like, say, the R9 290/290X.

 

Also, display scaling looks like butt in general.

Scaling it down or up, I would like to at least have the scaling on it be more for 1080p, 1440p, 2K, and 4K without it looking trash

4k scaling down to 2k is absolutely going to look like garbage.  1080p has a 50/50 chance of A) looking like garbage or B) looking mediocre

If you have a 4k monitor why wouldn't you run games at 4k? What's the point of getting a 4k monitor if you're not going to use the resolution?

So just to be clear you're getting a top end graphics card, then specifically not running it at it's maximum capabilities. You're spending $500 on a 9900k, either $700 on a 2080/1080ti or 1200 on a 2080ti, and running it at $400 graphics card levels so it's a bit quieter and consumes marginally less power? That's insane.

I know I am insane because of this but then again thats just me talking here but I may not even do that,

 

Just get an i9-9900K

Get a GTX 2080 Ti

Use displayport 1.4

not do any scaling and if I don't like it I can just adjust it or return it and get something else.
