Amazon screwed up my order. (coolermaster elite 110)

I ordered 1 coolermaster elite 110 case for the mini monster build I'm doing, and they sent me the case twice. Now I have an extra case. I contacted amazon (spoke to a rep name Sharon) about the extra case she told me to keep it since if I had to ship it back had to cost me money.

I'm starting to wonder how they keep afloat if they keep sending out extras lol, wonder if I ordered a $15,000 laptop if they sent me a extra would they ask me to keep it ?

I don't see why it'd cost you money to ship back the case at all, considering they pay shipping back *shrug*
It's likely that the seller said to abandon it, since it's not worth it for them to receive it back.

Was it sold and fulfilled by Amazon, or just fulfilled?

Probably looked at the cost of shipping vs the cost of the item and it doens't make financial sense.

Time to throw it on eBay so you can buy more parts.

Nah I'll probably keep it in storage it's one of the best mini-itx cases excellent air-penetration cases. The only disadvantage is you have to use mini cards.

plus the receiving time, checking the item, placing it back in stock and updating the database, only to probably have to sell it as a return at lower profit.

Silent build - You know your pc is too loud when the deaf complain. Windows 98 gaming build, smells like beige

$50 case. Sending a motherboard to a friend cost about $30 out of pocket and this weighed less. The merchant wouldn't be able to legally sell as new so there's another loss.

All that is not worth the trouble.
