Virtual Monitor

I have an odd project, I want to use a PC I have for running video game servers. I don't have a dedicated monitor for said PC, is there a way to vitrualize a monitor or display so I can use remote control software to access the PC? I'm new to Ubuntu but not Windows 10 or software/hardware stuff.
