Lowering latency between nas and comp

JohnDongus

Nas is in closet, computer at desk. 10 ft away horizontally with almost a clear view to the router.

I'm looking to get the lowest latency I can wirelessly from my comp to my nas

I plan on playing games off it, which works but has some. Latency issues.

So now I'm trying to figure a way to get something faster then the 5ghz network I'm. Using. Or getting a highish end network card for the NAS and using that to get better latency

CPU:R9 3900x@4.5Ghz RAM:Vengeance Pro LPX @ 3200mhz MOBO:MSI Tomohawk B350 GPU:PNY GTX 1080 XLR8

Keep in mind that wireless changes all the time.  What worked one day may not work the next. Also, you cant just make lower latency, wireless is wireless and it has higher latency, there is not much that can be done.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
