Help with making a budget build

Hello, I'm new to building pcs and am trying to go for a $500 - $400 build that can run games at 60fps on medium settings.  So far all I've done is make a build on pc part picker, but I really dont know where to go or what options to choose to get decent experience for not a high price.

would this work?  I've thought of switching the gpu to just a 1050 and the cpu to a celeron or i3-8100.  

 

Edit:

wow, I didn't expect so many responses, so I switched up the build and replaced the i3 with the 2400g and removed the separate cooler.  I found a GTX 1060 3gb for only $164, so i added that to the build instead of the 1050ti.  I might end up not putting the 1060 into the build and saving it for later while just using the integrated ryzen graphics.  By the way, how will i figure out things like case fans, does it come with a case, is it a necessity?  And if I buy these parts will he wires needed be inlcuded.

@lostpotato1234 the 1050 Ti is pointless to get, a R5 2400G is right on its heels for gaming performance. This way you can save money and get a much better GPU down the road. Nowadays a 1050 Ti is a big waste of money.

This is cheaper and will be better, then down the road you can get a dedicated GPU.

Main point: Faster GPU for less money

Changed to Ryzen 3 2200G to save some budget. Also your B360 board wont let you overclock the CPU or memory at all.

Replaced HDD with SSD for faster system response and shorter boot times

Added PSU so the PC can actually turn on and run

Changed case for better airflow

Added a bunch of fans to help airflow

Ditched CPU cooler, the 2200G doesnt need anything better than the stock cooler and the Hyper 212 isn't good enough to be worth the money. There are better choices available now like the Deepcool Gammaxx 400 and Arctic Freezer 33
