Auto sign in from Sleep - No Password - 1 User

GazCBG

Hi,

I set my PC to every night and wake on either Keyboard or Mouse which is fine.

But in the morning when I wake it up, it returns to the Lock Screen and have to click sign in.

I have no password and only 1 account on it.

How do I get it to auto sign in when I wake it from sleep?

Thanks,

Gaz

Simple.

Start > Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options.

In there you'll find at the top: "Require Sign-in" section. In there, you have a drop down menu list. Click on that, and pick "Never"

Not so simple I don't have that option on Windows 10 Home 64 bit.

Says I need to set a password.

Yes, you need to set a password.

And once you set the password, you should have the option I mention in the Settings panel.

And to have your system auto-login at startup, do start > type: netplwiz, and pick it.

And uncheck the box "Users must enter a user name and password..."
