What's The Difference Between GIGABYTE Z390 Pro Vs Elite?

Go to solution Solved by -rascal-,

The Z390 Arous Pro is the higher-end board between the two.

The Pro version has support for nVidia SLI / AMD Crossfire, and also has more USB 3.1 ports.

There are also a couple more little things, including:

  • More fan headers
  • Temperature sensor headers

VRM design are exactly the same for both boards.

Here's my part list if anyone's wondering, I have the pro in there right now but i'm curious what the actual difference is with the pro and elite versions. Should I just stick with the pro?

Pro supports SLI (and has 1 extra PCIe x16) while Elite doesnt. Pro also swaps out a USB 3.1 Type A for a Type C. more fan headers, more thermal sensors, 2 thermal probes (so you can have temperature sense anywhere you want) and 2 pump headers than the Elite.
