Which motherboard should I get?

Hello, humans!

 

Recently, (or I reeealy dont know) ASRock unveiled their B450M Steel Legend motherboard, and damn, isnt it hot?

Buuuuut Im currently disputing it between the MSI B450M Mortar Titanium... they are but nut worthy in the looks departament (en mi opinion), but I want to buy only one...

 

I will use an Ryzen 5 2600X, and OC it, maybe quite a lot, I always take em extra frames if I can.

 

So, here are my criteria:

 

1. Which has better VRM? (Casual overclocking)
2. Which has better VRM phases?
3. Which has better audio?
4. Which has better hardware and software support?
5. Which has the better BIOS?
6. Which one is more robust in general?

 

 

The B450M Steel Legend is a tad more expensive here... ($20 MAX.) but I dont mind paying a little bit more.

 

So, which is better?

Literally going through the same dilemma. About to order parts for my first pc build and i want an matx for a thermaltake v21. Trying to decide between the asus tuf b450m, the mortar, or the steel legend.

The ASUS TUF B450M has crappy VRM, it looks like 8 phases, but in reality its only 4, bad quality ones. It has slighly better audio, but it wins by an insignificant margin.

 

The MSI B450M Mortar is extremely promising, sexy, and good!

 

Buuut the ASRok B450M Steel Legend has pretty much the same audio, VRM, and connectivity as the Mortar. But looks better! (Extremely promising, too!)

 

 

Yah, I wanted to buy the ASUS TUF B450M first, but the reviews, the VRM, the looks.... JUST NO.

 

Some quick browsing on the ASRock and MSI website show that they have the exact same audio codec, VRM Phases, I/O etcetc. They both are excellent choises, but they are very similar, and IDK which one to get...
