So my phone just died... Time to decide between new ones.

So my phone just shit the bed. (Samsung S8 was cracked for over 3 months and the screen finally gave out)
Should I get a Samsung Note 9 or Pixel 3 XL?
Other larger phones you would recommend? I am on Verizon in the US

Note 9 is pretty sick, depending on your budget they're showing off the Galaxy S10 tomorrow

I was planning on waiting until the S10 or S10+ but seeing how my S8 is unusable, I can't wait.

You know......You know.....some carriers offer phone leases (Galaxy Forever) and they say that you pay for the phone for twelve months and then you can keep the phone or upgrade.  Maybe get the Note 9 now and wait for the S10.  That is, if your carrier allows it.

Won’t visit often..
