Mine is a 3D rendering of a flower I created in the 80s for a garden scene.

The raytraced scene that it was created for took about 3 days to render.

Here it is in its original size.

It's amazing that just a few years later we made this on a budget 

And this for 1.25 million

Currently, the character Demencia from Villainous cartoon, since I find the character a hoot; otherwise, the avatar be a cat character of some sort (occasionaly Gir as that is another character I find hilarious).

About 4 seconds.

I used the same 3D engine(turbo Silver/Imagine) up until 2012.

In 2013 I started using 3D max full time. 

 

This took about a minute with an i7 2600k and a GTX 470.

The reason I used the renderer for such a long time is that it used 1 thead. I could render 6 images at a time and still use 1 thread for the editor. With Max I rendered on one computer and had the editor on the other.

I remember the Eiffel 65 video. I still hear the song on Pandora.

 

The flower and garden scene were done on a Amiga 500 so only 7.16 MHz.
