Lemme See your case suggestions

AndyP79

As the title says, lets see some photos or links to your favorite cases. Doesn't have to be built, can be a stock pic, just want a pile of choices for an upcoming rebuild. Currently using an M-ATX motherboard, so that is the only real requirement..... though a good looking ITX won't be disqualified.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

My favourite case so far (although it's Mini-ITX) is the Louqe Ghost S1. Sure, there's some flaws, but imo, there's no ITX case, that looks more simplistic, modern, and sexy than that. I wrote a review of it here:

I love Small Form factor ITX rigs.

I bought a Corsair 280x recently and I love it, with the exception of having to use microfiber cloths to take off the side panel, can't leave any finger prints!

I guess my underrated-airflow ITX case also won't be disqualified?

love the define s2 (non meshify)

the o11 dynamic is also pretty sweet.

silent base 601 is pretty sleek for a work computer.

I prefer the Air 240 to the 280x bc temps, although the 280x does look sweet.

a good idea for a quiet mATX build is this:

OP: matx is pretty good bc most non-enthusiasts dont need 7 or 8 expansion, 4 is a good fit, 2-3 for GPU, 1 for wifi card/nothing, so matx is perfect.

only problem is that there aren't any good matx boards imo (i.e X470/z390 w/ a good 10/12 phase vrms (think Aorus z390 elite but matx so its just a bit shorter)

Meshify C mini.  I recently built in this case for a buddy and it was great.  The compact size is really nice.

mATX build, my recommendation is the Corsair 280X.  I have my personal rig in one and love it.  Easy to build in, plenty of cooling options, and relatively small footprint.  This is one we built for CES to show the new H100i RGB Platiinum SE cooler, full whiteout build.  Let me know if you have any questions about building in one.

Slight off topic: Any plans to make a successor to this case or a version with a mesh front to promote airflow? The Air 240 is nice and all but I'm interested in something with updated I/O.

https://www.thermaltake.com/Chassis/Super_Tower_/Core/C_00002895/Core_WP200/design.htm

Dual System in One
Due to the partition of the chassis, users are capable of putting two systems in the case. The Core WP200 has room for XL-ATX, E-ATX, ATX, Micro ATX, and Mini-ITX builds. With two systems in one case, there are also two sets of I/O buttons located on front-top of the case.

My vote is always for the Fractal Mini C or Nano S.

I love their no fuss cases and sound proofing.

I don’t like window on case so I have windowless Nano S and it’s superb

i5 8600 - RX580 - Fractal Nano S - 1080p 144Hz

Only $40 and Has room for most stuff, but it MIGHT require slight case modding depending on what you want to mount on the front.

The selling point: 360mm Rad can be mounted in this budget case with no modding needed.
