Trying to find a ryzen CPU that supports ecc though

Any Ryzen CPU supports ECC.

Any Ryzen APU does NOT support ECC

Don't they all support it? Just finding a motherboard that supports it is hard, but all ryzen 1000 and 2000 cpus should support it. Just in case asking @Stefan Payne Stefan do all ryzen cpus support ecc?

Yes, all CPUs support it, to my knowledge, however the APUs do not!

The only thing you need is a Board that also supports it.

And you don't get any BIOS Option for that either, so you have to check it for example in Linux.

Looking for ryzen pinnacle ridge or Summit ridge for freenas build as ecc is supported by these. Managed to find a board that supports ecc  BOARD:https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B07FVKWLQK/ref=ox_sc_act_image_2?smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&psc=1

does anyone know where to get it in UK or Ireland thanks Ben

Just order it on amazon?

For cpu if you dont plan to add a dedicated gpu get the r3 2200g or r5 2400g, if you plan to add a dedicated gpu select a ryzen 1000 or 2000 series cpu based on the use case.

I only see your reply if you @ me.

The board in my original post supports it if its a pinnacle ridge or a summit ridge family of ryzen. I also asked in amzn UK site and was told that it would support ecc with those chips above

Yeah and pinnacle and summit ridge are the ryzen 1000 and 2000 processors. Your picture doesn't load, but as far as i know all ryzen cpus from pinnacle and summit support it.

So anything from r3 1200 to r7 1800x, and from r3 2200g   r5 2600 to r7 2700x.
