First of all, beautiful rigs, guys! It's so nice to see so many people with good taste in aesthetics and with the enthusiasm to build their own PCs. The community is alive and well!

So, I've finally finished my 2019 build! It's such a relief to have everything put together. The only part that was missing was an LED strip, and I bought this really nice Cooler Master Masteraccessory LED strip (more like a bar) with RGB functions and whatnot.

Now all that's left to do is get me a new desk, the reason why I didn't take pictures of the whole setup.

Specs:

MSI B450 Tomahawk

Ryzen 5 3600

16GB HyperX Fury RAM

Gigabyte RTX 2060 Gaming OC Pro

Kingston A400 480GB SSD + Seagate Barracuda 1TB

Corsair CX600 PSU

Aerocool Cylon case

3x Cooler Master Masterair 120mm fans

This is my current get-up. Still in its premature stages, but we'll get there.

As you can see in the last pic on the far left my newly purchased foam pads. Not sure how I'll work with them (probably not well) but we'll get an update some other time.

PC specs in another post.

Cheers man, much appreciated! I haven't decided what RGB settings I want to go with yet, but the rainbow looks okay for now. In the future I really want to put the PC up on the desk. Unfortunately I can't do it atm because there's a wall mounted heater right underneath that would be blowing directly onto my PC if I put it there. Maybe once it gets hotter in the year I will move it.

So cool! Especially the leds on the desk edge and the wall mounted monitor.

What's that walky talky looking thing underneath your monitor on the right? And what do you mean by your "ward" loves it?

Hey thanks a lot my ninja. the device you are seeing is my short wave radio that was charging . It sits in my GO bag normally.. er my bad !! a rucksack 511 prepared in advance to leave at a moments notice and capable of proving me with shelter, food, fire, water in any terrain.
My ward ... when my sister died I became my handicapped nieces guardian.. she is now legally my ward :)
Those lights are cheap when you consider just how bad ass they really are...NO bulb.... run your finger down the strip..all rubber!!!   OUCH to the heater setup . let me know if you decide to stop by Texas

We all start at different levels .. but share the love of building and modding. remind me one day to tell you about my rig that ran on a cassette and parts from radio shack ( a store most likely before your time) it was sorta kinda like amazon.... *prepare yourself* but you had to leave your house and drive to their physical location. If you need to take a moment , I understand!

I think it is totally righteous and bad-ass the way you have your breaker box right there ... THAT is some squared away forward thinking soldier

19 well all right little brother!!  My Ninja !!!!

You put a smile on my face and a spring in my step....oh wait that's my alligator cowboy boots.... their 20 years old

Seriously , I got nothing but respect for an up and comer like yourself. given that most of your generation are completely useless, whiny ass, marshmallows ( was going to say snowflake) but didn't want to bring a political slant to the conversation :)

You and I can be friends. as I am literally sitting here boarding and bagging some comics , checking my crypto/Bitcoin  prices for the day, and deciding what game to play tonight.

I first thought it looked a little too much bulky! Then I zoomed in on the image and saw that it is like a type of L-shapped computer case with everything on the outside, and changed my mind. ? What are the dimensions of that case or model if you don't mind?

Finally my main rig is back together again! I had to redo and clean out the entire loop after some metal that came loose (probably from a radiator?) Jammed up my pump.

No permanent damage luckily, and she's running F@H and BOINC on a nice and chilly (for the loop size!) 53 degrees.

right screen is 10 years old, speakers are almost 15 years old, they all work fine so never needed to replace them. I had a third monitor but I gave it to my uncle as he needed one and surround gaming with HD7850 with just 2G vram is a dream anyways.

3570K at 4.5Ghz but its getting cold so i can probably crank it up to 4.8ghz soon.

HD7850 2G with modded bios with UEFI support.

16G ram.

Z77A-GD65.

Case is nothing special, it holds my components and has purpose to showoff so I didnt even bother taking a picture of it.

There is a 18W blacklight bulb on top of the desk

Not planning on upgrading a single component until this computer is atleast 10 years old (3 more years to go)

Currently trying to save up for an upgrade (CPU (and most likely cooler), mobo, ram, GPU (probably) and storage) but for the time being, the system is still working well.
The CPU despite its age is still holding up quite well in games. Mostly use this system for multitasking and gaming with some streaming, coding virtualization and video/photo editing from time to time. Might end up throwing the RX card into another system and putting a 1050 in here since it's been causing some issues.

**PICTURES ARE PRE-CABLE MANAGEMENT**

I've had a bunch of issues with this build, but I went through a couple hours of diagnostics and eventually got it up and running! The description of my build is in this link: PCpartpicker but here are the specs...

Ryzen 5 2600x w/ stock cooler

MSI Armor RX 580 8gb

Ballistix 16gb RAM @ 3200

ROG Strix B450-F Motherboard

Intel 660p 512gb M.2 NVMe SSD

Toshiba P300 3tb HDD @ 7200 rpm

CX650m PSU

Corsair 100r

Built 09/2019

What do you think? Good mid-grade build? Open to all suggestions for upgrades in the future, or possible better "down grades."
