No idea who Pie Man is, but nice theme build!  I also own two CM Hyper 212 EVO's, they are solid heatsinks.  I have the NZXT S340 case (not tempered glass), I really like that case.

Purple Pieman was apparently the villain from the old Strawberry Shortcake carton from the 80s or 90s...whenever it came out.  My wife started collecting the Funko Pop set at Anime Expo a couple of years ago.  Anywho, I'm jealous of how nice my wife's computer looks.  Now I want to get a nicer case for my own.

On the  NZXT S340 is the window acryilic?  Yah, I didn't realize how nice glass windows looked.  I have a DIYPC Zondda-O case

What SSD? You really should've gotten one with more than 250GB of storage IMO.

Did you get an Asus motherboard just for the RGB lighting? Becase if not, there were many better options.

yeah it was a very painfull process to say the least. the little dremel i was initially planning to use was nowhere near strong enough to actually cut through the front panel, so i had to take my rig apart completely and use an angle grinder. the surface finish went to hell because of that, so i had to somehow make it look decent again, hence the wood-pattern wrap.

all in all i guess it looks fine, tough it's definitely still not perfect!

What sort of Dremel do you have?

I am surprised the Dremel did not work for you, it should have made light work of that project with the right attachment

that's the thing, it's a no-name knock off. which honestly shouldn't even be all that bad. it was still a decent motor using brushes and all that, and it had the power, tough after cutting roughly 3 centimeters of front panel i had already burnt through 5 cutting disks.

so i bought a tub of Dremel branded cutting disks, tough that didn't help either. i guess 1.2mm of steel is just a little much for a dremel to cut through? i bet it would do 1.2mm of aluminium just fine tough.
