Laptop Hooked to Monitor?

I was wondering if the following laptop can be hooked up to the following monitor:

Laptop

A hdmi cable should work fine

I believe the HDMI output on the  Acer Aspire E is HDMI 1.4b which only supports 1080p @60Hz. It will work with that monitor but not at 144Hz.

Thanks for letting me know. If you can, can you link some laptops under $700 USD that is compatible with the monitor?

This is $719, it was the only one I could find that has HDMI 2.0 around $700.
