If the 7700k is all you can afford then it would be fine, it's just that since it's 2 generations old it should have dropped in price but it hasn't so it's not very good value.

can you tell exatly how much difference btween these 2 7700k and 8700k in fps ?

Just pulled that number out of my ass because it's pretty impossible to predict

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Maybe, I'm not really sure and also average FPS has been shown to be a bad metric when talking about good game performance, what you need to avoid is frame drops rather than slightly lower fps. I think the i7 7700k will provide a good gaming experience, and you're not really missing out on anything by not getting an 8700k.

I think you should upgrade your CPU, you have very strong GPU which can easily handle all modern games at good FPS in 1080p

Dude, I dared myself to get a GTX 1060 6Gb in mid 2018 for years ahead, and it runs flawlessy so far, it unleashes its full potential with 1080p 144Hz monitor.. If I were you, I don't bother with upgrading your GPU, but your CPU is the one which need to be upgraded soon than the GPU.

My system specs:
