SSD 860 EVO & 860 QVO Confusion

Hello all, I am wondering why people are complaining so much about the new 860 QVO yeah it may not be the best but on paper it is really good in terms of performance, just because in some countries the price may be worse to buy the qvo over the evo doesn't mean you can hate on it just for that reason.

It is generally not recommended for OS installs. It's great for storage needs, though.

Well it was either a WD black or that for storage so..

It uses QLC, and has the performance you expect from that. The benefit is cost, the downside is the performance, especially when it is nearly full.

It will be better than a HDD, but much worse than other SSDs.

LTT has a video on it. Think it was on the 760p. Title being something about SSDs getting worse (they changed it a couple of times)

Yeah I think I will go for a 4tb WD Black instead for now
