Pay off my truck. Buy some guns that aren't ArmaLite Rifles.

Come Bloody Angel

Break off your chains

And look what I've found in the dirt.

Pale battered body

Seems she was struggling

Something is wrong with this world.

Fierce Bloody Angel

The blood is on your hands

Why did you come to this world?

Everybody turns to dust.

Everybody turns to dust.

The blood is on your hands.

The blood is on your hands!

1. Lose weight

2. Upgrade my home tech setup

3. Get my budgeting in order

4. Spend more of my time teaching my kids instead of just letting them play on their own

Insanity is not the absence of sanity, but the willingness to ignore it for a purpose. Chaos is the result of this choice. I relish in both.

The only regret I have about getting more into being fit is that I started on New Year's Day and that makes it seem a lot less legitimate of a thing than it really is. I've specifically been strength training, trying to build more muscle.

I'd like to build a new PC this year, probably Zen 2-based. I'll probably repurpose my current system as a streaming box/backup if I do that.

Getting games to stream to my laptop remotely(both on and off my home network) would be very nice to figure out, as I do hope to someday not have to lug my PC around to play games like Fortnite and Destiny 2.

1: Learn more about Software Engineering, mainly I want to learn the LiveCode environment because I want to get into App developing.

2: Pass the exams for the first in English, or maybe if the exams are to easy for me and I can wait 4-5 years then just do the advanced (English Diploma)

You can take a look at all of the Tech that I own and have owned over the years in my About Me section and on my Profile.

I'm Swiss and my Mother language is Swiss German of course, I speak the Aargauer dialect. If you want to watch a great video about Swiss German which explains the language and outlines the Basics, then click here.

If I could just play Videogames and consume Cool Content all day long for the rest of my life, then that would be sick.

  • Get accepted into Uni - electrical engieering + masters is the plan
  • Go on a motorbike trip to Norway or somewhere else in Europe
  • Move out

guess thats about it? Four of them are all the same goal really though.

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

See the source image

Hahah Dear God I hope not...

I like to think it's more akin to this:

gc3rAm.jpg

...I haven't been that fit in a very, very long time ?

However this year my goal is closer to this:

jason-statham.jpg

Which shouldn't be overly hard to accomplish. Plus that's about where my hairline is at now anyway.

Being compared to that version is definitely a compliment ? Unless the ladies (....men?) don't like beards?

9) treat my back pain finally!!

10) no more energy drinks

Nice! I miss the mountains. Where I live now, none are near....so my 2 $7k mountain bikes sit in storage. Sadness. What area do you compete in? DH? XC?

Or have they come up with a whole new range of acronyms for them. I swear every 5 years they completely rename them. Like Enduro.

I might buy an exercise bike to keep my cardio up.

I feel you on that one. I have been in an off and on long distance relationship with a girl I've known since elementary school but kind of lost contact with in high school since I moved. We got back into contact and into somewhat of a relationship over the last couple years.

We share the same interests and her personality meshes well with mine. Only issue is that it's a long distance relationship, and while I'm pretty certain she remains committed to it, I'm less certain about its viability, hence me wanting to explore the waters locally. We're still trying to negotiate a time to meet up IRL for the first time in a decade, but her schedule is very hectic.

She isn't married ofc. No kids either. One year older than me.

It's all touch and go tbh.

I guess I can add a real IRL meetup to my list of goals for the year. I may have to fly out to her area to facilitate that.

Somewhat of a relationship...would not be a good basis for moving in together. I mean, moving to the same city or something, sure. Otherwise one of you will feel somewhat obligated to stay, even if the feelings change. I'd say one or both of you have commitment issues, given it's been more than a year and neither of you have moved to be closer to the other. Haven't seen each other in a decade? Move on. Might want to do some deep thinking on that one, muchacho.

Losing weight is easy! Just eat somewhat right, do a little exercise, and boom. It'll come. Plus you're young, you probably have a killer metabolism.
Or, you could do what I do, and just be stressed the fuck out. That also causes weight loss.

  • Talk my boyfriend into PC gaming ?
  • Finish 2 more semesters of nursing school
  • Spend time with family and friends more
  • Continue being happy and healthy

Not too much to ask for besides maybe converting the bf into PC life... ?

NIce! How far are you into your nursing degree? Are you going into a specialization?

Hmmm. From console? Just show him how cheap games are, and how affordable gaming PCs have become!

If all of his friends play on console it'll be a hard switch though.

1) Move back home

2) Get a job

3) Learn to drive

4) Get back to programming

Moving home is always tough. I mean, home cooked food, yay. But. Living with parentals. Not so yay.

Then again it all depends on how old you are.

got a few goals i guess;

  • Score higher than my previous best on the SWE SAT
  • Get accepted into Uni - electrical engieering + masters is the plan
  • Go on a motorbike trip to Norway or somewhere else in Europe
  • Move out
  • Get my Highschool diploma

guess thats about it? Four of them are all the same goal really though.

Moving out is a pretty lofty goal. You wouldn't want to stay at home and go to university? I imagine that'd be much more affordable.

Though if money isn't that much of an issue, living somewhere else is a loooooot more fun ;)

Pretty much the only goal for me is to finish the game I've been working on since 2014. Well and to drop the 30 pounds I gained last year, but that won't be hard.

Damn son, get on that! I had a fellow manager who was in the same boat. His love was games, but he's been bouncing around management positions because they pay well in the mean time. All I can say is, no time like the present. Putting it off accomplishes nothing.

I recently dropped 40 pounds. Stoked to finally fit into my clothes again ?

Now time to bulk...and hopefully not drastically outgrow my shirts.

Haha, I think you're the only person I've seen say they need to gain more weight.
I, too, will be on the weight gain train. However it's to build muscle. I managed to lose the weight I wanted, but now I feel tiny...

yeah... long story short i have fast metabolism... so another 5 kg wouldn't be a problem for me...
