Advice on buying prebuilt.

I've been looking around for pre built. This one has i7, 2080 rtx. It's on sale to 1700 flat. Originally 2k. From what I've seen from digital storm, nzxt and origin, this price actually looks good. What do y'all think about this build? Only problem is I can't finance it through Walmart

I would still rather build myself to make sure there aren't corners cut (crap motherboards, single channel memory config, weak PSU etc), but that price seems reasonable when you take the extra service you don't get if you build yourself.

But if you want a prebuilt PC, the OMEN one you linked is being sold for a decent price.

This 100%.

 

Here a better system you could build yourself. Way better parts almost guaranteed. Plus the 8700k will last a little longer and can be overclocked for an extra bump when you start to feel like you're being held back. You could make it a little cheaper if you want but this is pretty solid.
