I wonder what the next macOS name will be...

can anyone who lives in California come up with pretty names to do with a desert located there? I assume they will do the same thing with Sierra and High Sierra where the name change and the OS update itself won't have a big change, because they already did that with Mojave.

Don’t think it has to be desert related, just a landmark in California.

usually we get a big release, and then a smaller one with bug fixes and under-the-hood improvements. that smaller release is usually based on the same kinda "theme" in terms of naming scheme as the big release. 

 

since Mojave was a massive update I would assume that the next one will be smaller.

Since we are now going by locations I'd vote for Zzyzx, it's right next to the Mojave - perfect for an incremental update no one will ever spell correctly.
