Z390 Maximus Code vs. Aorus Master

I will be using 9900k overclocked to about 5.0, and ram as just XMP enabled, 4000mhz. What's better?

The Maximums Code is just stupidly overpriced, and has a bunch of crappy plastic on it... Both the Hero and the Code have underwhelming VRM and Power Phases solutions, the Aorus Master offers better performance at a more realistic pricing.

 

Main deal with ASUS right now is their "ROG" marketing and a great part of what you're paying is just for that branding.

I read about vrm and I heard that it doesn't matter unless I'm doing these sort of extreme oc with ln2 and whatnot..? Despite that, is Master better option in terms of cooling and oc stability? I see that Master is about $100 cheaper in where I live.

It does matter very much, the i9 9900K is the most power hungry mainstream processor in the entire market... it's so 'aggressive' you can't run it's "STOCK" Turbo Boost while retaining the "STOCK" TDP of 95w just to begin with.

Yes it is, you can watch this video if you have any doubts but the Aorus Master is the best performing Z390 chipset motherboard in the market right now.

Like I said that is because you're not paying the stupid over-price ASUS charges for the "luxury" of having a "ROG (Republic of Gamers)" branding, you're not paying for good components when you choose ASUS just the fancy brand.
