Upgrade to a RTX 2060 from a RX 480?

jman116

Currently have an RX 480. Would it be worthwhile to upgrade to a RTX 2060? I'll be an engineering college student next year and my current build has a Xeon 6530 w/ 32 gigs of RAM. I can upgrade the Xeon. The issue is my system (new to me) can only support a 150 watt GPU and the 480 is way too far above that. The 1060 is a 160 watt card.

2060 is about gtx 1070 ti level of performance + rtx. i think you should wait a bit longer for their prices to eventually come down. even if it drops by like $30, it will be a much better deal
