Aorus B450 M Fan problem

Hello. I've recently upgraded my motherboard to a Gigabyte Aorus B450 M. Before this motherboard, i've had an ASUS Z170-a motherboard and my case fans worked perfectly fine. After the upgrade, the case fans are no longer spinning. They are plugged in to the motherboard just like before. The fans have a 3-pin connection, while the motherboard has a 4-pin connector. The BIOS says 0RPM for all case fans and cannot be modified. Do i need a 3-pin to 4-pin adaptor or is there another problem?
