Do you plan to use Ray Tracing or streaming? Then 2060, if not, then 1070ti. They go blow for blow so whichever is cheaper.

I'd personally go 2060 for streaming, DLSS, and Ray Tracing support. Performance between the two seems to be pretty close, and with some slight overclocks, the 2060 can pull ahead easily in situations where it falls behind at stock.

Specs: CPU - Intel i7 8700K @ 5GHz | GPU - Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming | Motherboard - ASUS Strix Z370-G WIFI AC | RAM - XPG Gammix DDR4-3000MHz 32GB (2x16GB) | Main Drive - Samsung 850 Evo 500GB M.2 | Other Drives - 7TB/3 Drives | CPU Cooler - Corsair H100i Pro | Case - Fractal Design Define C Mini TG | Power Supply - EVGA G3 850W

I'd wait for what the prices look like with AIB launches, but if you're in that price category, go with the 2060. Ray tracing won't matter, for the 2060, but the Turing Architecture approach will. It's the same performance as the 1070/Ti already, and it can get faster than a 1080 under certain loads.

Why would you pay more for an inferior card?

Honestly, I'd wait to see if the 1160 is a thing, and if AMD releases their new cards. Then make a decision.

If you play The Division at all, get an RX580.

I got my evga ftw2 1070Ti on sale for $380, and that wasn't during black friday. You may be able to get one for that price, but it's still $29 more than the 2060's MSRP. It's probably going to retail for more than $349, but you'll have to check 1070Ti prices and 2060 prices. I used pcpartpicker and just sorted all the 1070Ti's lowest to highest price and check multiple times everyday.
