2700x to 3800x

Should I sell my 2700x for the 3800x and if so when is the release date? And has there been many leaks except for how many cores and threads it has!? I also do mostly gaming and streaming and wanting to see if it’s single thread is any better compared to the 9900k

Yeah we only know how many cores and it’s clock speed which the 3700x has better base then the 3800x but we are gonna have to see what the single core speed is

we dont know anything. afaik theres no official spec for them

The keynote is Wednesday... Just wait lol. Sample chips should be out within the month also, so you'll have performance numbers then. Then you can decide whether or not it's worth upgrading.

What everyone is trying to say is that leaks aren't actual confirmation so therefore we don't technically know any absolutes about the processor or even if they are going to make one.  Though I am hoping it is all true.  Desperately hoping.

They have announced the 3000 laptop series but there keynote is Wensday so we will have to see

Those CPUs are 12nm and not 7nm.
