Is it possible/good to install Windows 10 on a CORSAIR Force Series MP300 240GB, M.2 SSD?

I had some thoughts about installing Windows 10 on a M.2 SSD because I simply wanted my system to boot faster. Is it safe to do so and will it actually work?

Why wouldn't it? It'll work fine.

yes it will work, tough sometimes you would have to edit some settings in the BIOS to enable booting from M.2 drives.

It should work fine as long as your Motherboard has support for M.2 booting. I only mention this because I had a Lenovo laptop that could use the M.2 drive as a backup/emergency drive but it would not function as a boot drive no matter what I tried.(it came with a 24GB drive in there, I tried to replace with a 512GB drive with no luck)  But it *should* work. heh

Well usually under boot management or something like that there should be an option to boot from m.2. tough I'm not sure what it's called exactly, I don't think there's a universal name for the setting. 

Just make sure it is enabled and you should be good to go.
