wireless printing, wifi vs. USB to router

I was looking through my Archer C7 router config page and I was reminded of the USB printing connection on my router. Right now I have my Canon mg29222 printer connected via its wifi setup to the router. So my question is, is it faster or more beneficial to use the USB connection to the router over the wifi connection?

wont make any difference, after all its a printer which doesnt need anything high speed anyways.

I'd imagine WiFi is better, as its designed to operate that way so will support all the functionality.

Router:  Intel N100 (pfSense) WiFi6: Zyxel NWA210AX (1.7Gbit peak at 160Mhz)
WiFi5: Ubiquiti NanoHD OpenWRT (~500Mbit at 80Mhz) Switches: Netgear MS510TXUP, MS510TXPP, GS110EMX
ISPs: Zen Full Fibre 900 (~930Mbit down, 115Mbit up) + Three 5G (~800Mbit down, 115Mbit up)
Upgrading Laptop/Desktop CNVIo WiFi 5 cards to PCIe WiFi6e/7
