This is wrong while there is a lot of talk about this its mostly dependent on the video and your eye sight. Most charts i've seen that suggest this state that a 720p tv is still a heck of a good picture and its not. There is a difference and it's not negligible except if your eye sight is so bad the 720p tv looks good. Regardless that isn't the question sorry but I couldn't find a 1080p oled only 4k (not trying to prove my point) I think its just most people who want a nice panel like an oled want higher res. Besides buying used there isn't much.

dont think they are for sale anymore, the at X distance they will look the same argument is one I hear often but i would also argue most people cant tell OLED vs LCD unless you look at a lot of stuff with really dark mixed with light.  noir films I guess.......
