Swapped GPUs and now not getting a POST

Pretty simple enough that it is a GPU issue. Well guess not as I installed the old GPU and nothing still posts. 

 

Everything in the case powers on, GPU fans/leds, Case Fans, and Mobo LEDs. I did reset the mobo by using the jumper and removing the CMOS battery and still no luck

 

Considering both GPUs no longer post, when the old one was just working, I narrowed it down to the Mobo and PSU. Stupid me dropped the Display port metal part onto the Mobo when the PC was powered down and I was switching GPUs. What are the chances I shorted the mobo? Anything else I can try?
