i need help, audio hardware and recording piano with interface!!

i am trying to record my piano to my focusright interface with my laptop. so i plug my digital piano p-90 to the focuseright interface 2i2 2nd generation.. with a instrument cable. i also have my headphones plugged into the interface so i cvan hear the sound of the piano. i can hear the piano but i hear alot of static...does anybody know how to remove the static and just have a clean sound? i tried it with my guitar and it worked perfectly with a clean sound vlume turned all the way up... its just the piano. any tips?

 

SOLVED: never mind i solved it.. just had to play around with some settings of piano and interface
