Is this a good budget pc

Everything looks good but I would recommend either paying more for at least a 1060 or breaking to a ryzen 3 processor to have the money. I have a ryzen 3 and 1060 and it plays games on max settings over 100 fps consistently.

I didn't say this because I don't know what prices are like in Australia, but if he can go cheaper with those he definitely should.

Buy a 50$ case you will have time to earn money for a case with your computer 100% functional, (rather better gpu and worse case , we are talking to spend 100-150 more on the gpu to dont change till 2-4 years (1060 6gb / rx580 8gb)

Same with motherboard , I dont like msi motherboards (seems all cheeap and bad engineered?¿?¿) , maybe an asus or gigabyte for less price with same quality (aurorus , prime?)

Case: Corsair 760T  |  Psu: Evga  650w p2 | Cpu-Cooler : Noctua Nh-d15 | Cpu : 8600k  | Gpu: Gygabyte 1070 g1 | Ram: 2x8gb Gskill Trident-Z 3000mhz |  Mobo : Aorus GA-Z370 Gaming K3 | Storage : Ocz 120gb sata ssd , sandisk 480gb ssd , wd 1gb hdd | Keyboard : Corsair k95 rgb plat. | Mouse : Razer deathadder elite | Monitor: Dell s2417DG (1440p 165hz gsync) & a crappy hp 24' ips 1080p | Audio: Schiit stack + Akg k712pro + Blue yeti.

well Australian pricing or not, I would never spend 80% of the cpu price on the case or more price on the case that on the motherboard, and ASUS STRIXX is expensive than other brands (maybe not in australia) you are buying a high end case to a budget pc with a budget cpu and a budget gpu, with a mid mobo , thats the problem , just take a cheaper case and buy a 1060/580 and faster ram (ryzen works better with faster ram) , you can cut prices on the case and if you can the motherboard

Case: Corsair 760T  |  Psu: Evga  650w p2 | Cpu-Cooler : Noctua Nh-d15 | Cpu : 8600k  | Gpu: Gygabyte 1070 g1 | Ram: 2x8gb Gskill Trident-Z 3000mhz |  Mobo : Aorus GA-Z370 Gaming K3 | Storage : Ocz 120gb sata ssd , sandisk 480gb ssd , wd 1gb hdd | Keyboard : Corsair k95 rgb plat. | Mouse : Razer deathadder elite | Monitor: Dell s2417DG (1440p 165hz gsync) & a crappy hp 24' ips 1080p | Audio: Schiit stack + Akg k712pro + Blue yeti.

Looks pretty solid to me. I'm not that sure about the graphics card though, I might consider a 1060 or a 570.

Ya, I agree with  @Peskanova. Don't get that case. MSI motherboards for Ryzen are OK, though. They're actually one of the best budget boards. Get an RX 580 with the money you save on the case. It's not even that much more money, honestly. If 1060 is cheaper than 580 for you then get that otherwise I never recommend a 1060 over a 580.

Seriously, you can get a good looking case for cheap.

Hi

if thats a budget pc  u can tone down on Mboard and get something like mATX that will save u  few quid or u are looking in to upgrade soon to SLI  if not  u can put more money in  GPU or CPU  to get Ryzen  5 2600x

Case its cost its more than Mboard maybe try to pick something cheeper

for  7 dollars more u can put in 1060 6 gig and 2600x  and still have b450 mboard
