Hello everyone happy new year, im thinking upgrading my good old trusty gtx 970 and im leaning towards a rtx 2070 but im reading in forums and in reviews that these cards are breaking down within a week. Any suggestions? any users here that have a rtx 2070 card? shall i go to the red side and buy a vega?

hey doge, do you really that upgrade, as in right now? if you can still game on your 970, i suggest that you should save your money and wait a little bit for the next GTX series. IMO, i just dont trust the 2000 series. IF you really need an upgrade, got with 1080 or 1080ti since they now sell it like hotcakes, and put your excess cash to good upgrades like SSD or something else.

BTW, list out your current set-up so we can have a good look of your PC.

My dear doggo, theres no problem with a 2070 only 2080ti mostly, but it is not worth it. How about this little boi, get yourself a 1080 or 1070 ti strix version

i searched for a 1070 - 1070ti and they have the same price as a 2070 . is it sure that they have no problem? for example there are a fair amountof negative reviews on the evga xc 2070 on amazon

how about 1080ti? how much is the difference with 2070 in your country?
