PC takes forever to boot

I recently added a bluetooth dongle, and since installing the software to run it, my computer now takes much much longer to boot. I'm running on windows 7. It used to boot before the windows icon could finish popping up on the screen, but now i get a windows background for a minute or two, before the "welcome" message even loads. 

 

Since then, i've uninstalled the the bluetooth software from my boot drive, and put it on a storage drive, but it's still taking forever to boot
