RX 570 drivers won't install

Did you buy used or new. Used cards often have mining bios in them. The card must be flashed with the stock bios in order to run properly.

Email asus customer support and ask them for the stock bios

Hello. Bought an ASUS RX570 Expedition, and I'm having troubles installing the driver. I've literally spent the last 3 hours reading all forum posts about this issue, and I've tried every diagnostic/troubleshooting step, but nothing works. The driver will not be installed properly. When trying to open Radeon settings, I get a pop up box with the famous "No amd graphics driver is installed or the amd driver is not functioning properly" message.

I've tried, in all orders & combinations you can imagine:

  • Safe mode --> DDU
  • Device manager --> Update driver / revert driver / Uninstall
  • Downloaded latest driver AND older drivers from mid 2018
  • Downloaded drivers directly from ASUS' website of my model
  • EDIT: Also tried installing the driver as administrator

Why is this happening? I'm begging you for assistance if you have any idea or know about a fix. Attaching some pictures below that might help you?

EDIT: I'm on Windows 7 if that should matter for anyone.

It is being detected as an RX570 in Device Manager as you can see, but the little yellow triangle means the driver is not properly installed.
