Wait, 38c? What card are you using, is it water cooled? I can see it's peaking at 47 or so. Mine is only slightly suffocated but it hits 50-60 C

EVGA GTX 1070 SC. Air cooled. It's right next to my open window and it's -7c outside

Ah well that makes more sense then Lmao. I'm in FL (it's 87 or so degress F outside) and I have my fan curve set super low since I have my PC right next to my monitor. I'll switch it to the slave bios and put a more aggressive curve on when I get home. I usually have it OC'd to 189 on the clock speed and 550 I believe on the mem on my master bios.

I can probably get more than 500 on my memory if I tried

It was 40 F here recently, it decided to switch over to being warm again for some reason. And yeah, 500 should be viable esp. with a decent over volt but you'll have to tone down the clock speed. The card really doesn't like high clock speeds with a high mem clock, I've actually encountered performance DECREASES when I had high clck speed with high mem clock.

yes it's perfectly safe, I got 1.4Ghz on my old 550 Ti with MSI Afterburner and a modded BIOS.

I think that MSIA 4.6 is weird because of the update, I'm running 4.5.
