Like my dad used to say, hindsight is better than foresight every time.  Only the future knows what's in store for tomorrow so understanding that, you know what you can do today but you can only hope for what you can do tomorrow.  I'm looking for a new GPU and I'm leaning towards a 580 so I'm going to give them another week or two and then make my decision then but I'm afraid if I wait too long, then all the good deals will be gone and I will have lost out.  Don't want to wait too long because you may be too late.

It does look like a fair deal to me...would you be happy with your purchase? You'll be using this monitor for the next 6 years at least...personally I think it's worth every penny if you can afford it and have the PC to run it well.

Not too sure how well two 980 Ti's would fair. I would be downgrading the resolution for better FPS in games. My desktop struggles playing BF V at 4K. But I'm also eye balling a 27" 1080p 240 hz monitor from Acer as well. I can't seem to decide whether a 16:9 monitor is better for shooters or not. The Alienware monitor looks really darn good on paper though. But is 21:9 aspect ratio support good?

well..21:9 in shooter games really does have a learning curve i think...1080p at 27'' doesn't look good...2560x1440p 27'' high refresh is really nice and cost effective for all type of games...sharp fast sreen...IPS Gsync if possible.
