do the nvidia drivers on Linux also have issues when virtualized?

i'm talking about code 43. does that also happen with the Linux driver?

what i want to do, is use a pc with the following specs:

2x E5620

24gb ram

GTX 690

i want to have a linux host and a linux VM, the VM using the 2nd GPU of my GTX 690 to play games on both of them.

can i install the nvidia drivers on the VM or will it not work?

Same question as here. I think I've seen the error code before, but would rather not make assumptions.

yeah i've had it only on Windows. but i want to know if it happens on Linux too.

Yes, It should.

You need the same workarounds as you do on Windows, I made a guide about pci passthrough btw with libvirt + KVM which is what is Wendell's using
